A life-long New Orleans resident whose 7th ward home is currently underwater. He has provided sound and stage management services at the New Orleans JazzFest for 25 years, operates a small mastering facility, and is networked to hundreds of musicians and technicians in the city.

John “Klondike” Koehler
Klon has been working JazzFest for 28 years, serving as Audio Director since 1985. His close association with Juan began in the early 90’s when Juan joined his soundfield containment team. Klon owns and operates Klondike Sound Co. in Greenfield, MA, providing concert sound services annually to major festivals and hundreds of one-offs and regional tours.

Paz has been a New Orleans resident since 1971. He has worked in the music industry since the early eighties. Since 1993 he has worked for Pyramid Audio as an account executive as well a music producer for the award- winning television show, Louisiana JukeBox. No stranger to volunteer work, he is a board member of The International Hospital for Children and President of the Ruth Paz Foundation. He is well-networked with all levels of the New Orleans music community, and brings a strong commitment to the mission of Katrina's Piano Fund.
Tom has been working in the professional audio and production community for nearly 30 years. He is the VP and Gen Mgr. of RF Productions of NY, Inc., providing new and innovative technologies to the audio industry. He has been a friend of the New Orleans Jazz Festival for over ten years, bringing these technologies to the event to assist in its technical production.
KPF is pleased to announce that Deb Radway has offered to help with Fund administration for the next few months. She will be managing collection, acknowledgments, and the donor database, allowing Klon to concentrate on instruments. Deb is an experienced HR administrator who brings valuable organizational skills to the team.
Katrina’s Piano Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Pro-bono legal services by Atty. David Singer of Greenfield. Tax filing and consultation pro-bono by CPA Tom Fredrick of Greenfield. Banking is being handled by Greenfield Savings Bank, with the generous assistance of Alexa Snyder, Joe Porior and Becky Caplice.
